what is aurarcana?

I love wordplay. I wanted a name that was creative, obvious and not so abstract that it didn’t make any sense.

When I think of Tarot, spirituality and how a card may may help an individual gain insight into something in their lives, comes to mind. When I think of the power of the individual, I think of the aura.

Aura is defined as:

1. a distinctive and pervasive quality or character; air; atmosphere: an aura of respectability; an aura of friendliness.
2. a subtly pervasive quality or atmosphere seen as emanating from a person, place, or thing. *

Arcana is defined as:

1. often, arcana. a secret; mystery.
2. a supposed great secret of nature that the alchemists sought to discover.
3. a secret and powerful remedy. *

What did I come up?

aurarcarna, which is wordplay using aura + arcarna. Of course!

aurarcarna is a place to write down notes, thoughts and collected discoveries such as links and other items I come across during my journey into the world of Tarot. It is also a project to explore the benefits of using Tarot journaling as a tool for self discovery.

This site is a work in progress, and understanding Tarot is a skill that develops over time. If you are reading this, please remember that this is a journal. Although there is universal symbolism and keywords associated with Tarot cards, each Tarot reader uses their own experiences and intuition to interpret meanings.
